Developing Good Business Sense The three businesses I chose are Wal-Mart, Super 1 Foods, and Raising Canes Chicken Fingers. The reason I choose these is that these are the places I visit the most. I have worked at a Wal-Mart in the past. This is how I know the process of shipping and receiving of merchandise. I also, know the way they restock the merchandise once it comes in from the warehouse or vendor. This is also, how I know the registers are synchronized with the main computer. In each of these businesses, the employees organize themselves in many different ways. The department stores use carts to restock the goods or items that need restocking. Wal-Mart employees have carts with the stock that needs to go back out on the floor that the consumer or consumers have purchased. The employees also, make sure that no trash or product is on the floor. If an employee sees any trash, spills, or products on the floor they clean it so the store can look neat and clean to the consumers. They also, keep all of the department areas clean and neat.
