Ethical and Legal Issues in Abortion
The issue of abortion has been a center of controversy in many states. It involves
terminating the fetus or the embryo before it can survive in the outside world. There is a range of
legal and ethical issues that surround the unplanned pregnancy and abortion. Abortion in health
advisory centers is supported, and the woman is responsible for the demise of her pregnancy.
However, depending on individual morals and values, the ethic of abortion can be right or
wrong. The paper gives a summary of the
Roe V. Wade
case and some of the ethical issues like
the criticism that is associated with abortion.
The Roe and Wade case took place in 1973 in the supreme court in the United States. The
supreme court affirmed access to safe and legal abortion as constitutionally right. The case
