Week 5 DQ2 Share one career, academic, and personal goal. Based on information found in the reading and video, describe your accountability plan for meeting each goal. Then, answer the following questions: Why is it important to write down goals and formulate a plan for meeting those goals? What role does accountability play in the pursuit of goals? Respond to at least two of your fellow students’ postings by Day 7. (You must create one initial post and at least two responses, for a minimum of three posts for this discussion.) TIP: This discussion question asks you to address two items: * list one career, academic and personal goal, and describe your plan for achieving each, * answer the two questions related to the role of formulating a plan and seeking accountability when setting goals. The personal goal that I have is in three years to have completed my families dream home and taken a trip to Disney World with my children. My career goal is to have completed my degree, and established myself in the IT field. I look forward to having my own business and possibly a staff working for me as well. It is important to formulate a plan because it will provide me with steps to completing my goals as well as things that I will have to finish in order to complete them. Accountability is key in my success because if I am not accountable for my own actions then I won't be able to advance and establish myself as a viable asset in the IT world....
