Being a father I have learned to use this skill on a daily basis with three kids that provide me with very little information but need a quick answer. My verbal memory is something that is my weakest cognitive area. When I was younger my parents found out I have a learning disability that makes it hard for me to understand things that I read. Even today I sometimes have to read things more than once or have someone read it to me before I can understand. I use my strongest areas to do will in class by thinking fast on my feet, I often have so many distractions when I do my school work being able to make a decision quickly is very beneficial. I can strengthen my weaker errors by trying to focus on my work more, and asking for help from others when I feel overwhelmed....
