Unformatted text preview: MATH 164, Winter 2010, Final practice problems June 2, 2010 1 Notes Final exam on Thursday, June 10, 2010 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM, PAB (Physics and Astronomy Building) 1434A. Bring a photo ID with you for the exam. The final is a closed-book and closed-note examination. Calculators are not allowed, but one 5x7 index card is permitted. The practice final only contains problems from the second part (topics covered after the midterm), but ALL sections and topics we covered in the lectures will be tested for the Final. Be sure to review the basic concepts/theorems/algorithms in the first half of the course. Review examples, proofs in the textbook, lecture notes, (practice) midterms and home- work assignments. Please do not assume any direct correlation between the practice final and the real exam. The actual final will contains 8-10 problems. In general, you have enough time to finish it....
