What do Babies think? In this video Alison Gopnik discussed studies that replicates how babies think and show intelligence. She explains how evolution created this exploratory period referred to as our childhood. In this period, we are sheltered protected and have everything handed to us so we can focus watching and learning. Later we learn how to apply skills that were observed throughout our childhood and we can adapt to our adulthood. Scientists conduct research and experiments and babies do as well to figure out what is happening around them. Much like scientists these babies actually create complex algorithms in their head to get to an idea and figure out how things work. Much like when they get a new toy they go through trials and they have to figure out it work to keep the playtime going. Many psychologist and philosophers think that babies are incapable of coming up with intricate though processes. However, Alison Gopnik
