Senate Bill 4 Implementation Year  student  enters  Grade 9  Credits needed in  the courses listed  below or  equivalents to  graduate. Must take the EOC  listed as an  assessment  requirement. Must pass the EOC  listed to earn  credit in the  course. 2010-2011 Algebra 1,  Geometry Algebra 1 2011-2012 Algebra 1,  Geometry, Biology Algebra 1 ,   Geometry, Biology Algebra 1 2012-2013 Algebra 1,  Geometry, Algebra  2, Biology Algebra 1 ,   Geometry Biology Algebra 1 ,   Geometry, Biology 2013-2014 Algebra 1,  Geometry, Algebra  2, Biology,  (Chemistry or  Physics) Algebra 1 ,   Geometry Biology Algebra 1 ,   Geometry, Biology

General Information Exam will be given in the third week of May,  2011. Exam will include approx 55-60 questions. Students will have 160 minutes to complete  the exam. The exam will be computer-based.

9 th  graders enrolled in Algebra I, Algebra I B, or  Algebra I Honors   The Department of Education is suggesting that the district  convert the  semester  grades into a 0-4 scale, and that they  also shift the 1-5 EOC scale to a 0-4 scale.  The DOE is  suggesting using the formula listed above to calculate.   Final Grade Calculations .35( Sem 1) + .35( Sem 2) + .30( EOC ) = Final Grade
