ENVI85 and ENVI85A are integrated editor-assembler-emulators for the 8085 which makes programming the 8085 less miserable. It runs in DOS. Note that there is one quirk in the assembler. The Intel documentation is obscure on this point. Were there two different versions of the chip? I do not know.
