Luisa Villalba Western Culture P 2 Western Culture is known as the way of life that has developed in the western world ; perhaps the dominant cultural form in the contemporary world. Elements from western culture have played a more prominent role in diverse cultures globally than any other culture has done. Western culture is unlike that of other cultures. It is difficult for companies that stem from western culture to adjust to cultures of other countries. In order for companies to prosper in other countries they must understand, and respect their culture. Companies must be careful not to offend its consumers by disrespecting their beliefs. A prime example of how business should be conducted in other countries is McDonalds. McDonalds is a company that originated, and is loved in western culture. Ray Kroc was the founder of the first McDonalds. His vision was one that has been well achieved world-wide. Kroc founded McDonalds with the dream of it being “fun, convenient and affordable for
