EE 214 Lecture 24 (HO#32) B. Murmann 2 Overview Introduction – Having established the basic noise mechanisms in MOSFETS, today's lecture looks at noise in circuits. In particular, we will focus on the so-called kT/C noise that plays an important role in the design of switched capacitor amplifiers. Based on the calculated total output referred noise, we will derive useful design considerations for low noise OTAs.
