The system controlled every aspect of the industry: production, distribution, and Exhibition of cinema. 2. Any known or suspected Communist sympathizer would be blacklisted and not allowed to work in the industry. Fearing loss of business many studio executives decided to take action to protect the industry, and resorted to the cowardly act of self-censorship. 3. Like our book’s example for myth of patriarchy. It makes me thinking of the movie I have seen in the class. It is an India movie, and it mostly talks about the gay relationship, but it also reflects the patriarchy in the society.
