Jamie Zimmerman COMM 105 sec. 011 Active Listening Paper October 22, 2007 Jamie (furrows eyebrows): You seem really bothered by what you feel this class expects of you. Chris: Yeah! That class is so much work. I can’t possibly get everything done that my Professor expects us to do and have the social life I want. So many people fail his class. He’s a horrible teacher! Worst of all, he’s incredibly unorganized. You can hand something in and he’ll lose it before it gets to his office. Jamie (nods): You feel wronged when you don’t get the credit for work you did. Chris: Well, who wouldn’t? It’s not fair for me to have to work so hard and then get cheated out of what I deserve. It’s really been building up inside me: my irritation with my accounting professor, his horrible teaching methods, his boring lectures, and all the work he piles on us.
