Jamie Zimmerman Assertive Communication COMM 105 December 3, 2007 NONASSERTIVE Jamie: (eyes downcast) Umm, Pat? Pat: Yeah, what’s up? Jamie: (playing with hair, avoiding eye contact), Do you have to wear that today? Pat: Well, it matches my shoes perfectly. It’s a really cool jacket. Jamie: oh, yeah, thanks. I just got it. Pat: Well it was a good buy. But hey, I have class so I’ll see you later tonight! (Pat leaves wearing jacket) AGGRESSIVE Jamie: (Eyebrows furrowed, raised voice) Are you wearing my new jacket? Pat! I have had it with you taking all my clothes without asking! Get your own clothes! You need to learn how to ask politely for things instead of just taking them! You are so rude! Pat: If you think I’m rude then you should look in the mirror! You’re such a bitch. It’s not like I ruin your clothes by wearing them. I have class right now though, so you can have your dumb jacket back when I get back. (Pat leaves wearing Jamie’s jacket and slams door behind him.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
