As industrial engineering students we are supposed to gain some qualifications during our education such as getting familiar with disciplines from different viewpoints, being able to speak more than one language fluently, having a general knowledge about different cultures. In addition to that, personally I do not want to be an industrial engineer with only basic skills. Some of my future plans include speaking Chinese, being familiar with Chinese culture and observing China's rapid growth. The idea of achieving such goals encouraged me to become an exchange student in China. Today's world is not suitable for narrow-minded engineers; on the contrary, the demand is for engineers who are capable of thinking in different ways. I think studying at a different university in a different country with different value judgments gives me such an ability. Another incentive for me to go abroad is the chance of improving my speaking ability in English. I can use English in reading, writing and listening with little problems, but
