If the firm uses a Matrix structure for the organization, then Jane will appoint a product manager each for batteries, pet product, personal grooming and, lawn and garden care. She will also appoint functional managers, namely, finance, production, sales and marketing, and human resources. Each employee will report both to the functional managers and to the product managers. Explain how the firm could operate using a Multidivisional structure (McKnight, 1977).
