The rules lay out a clear set of ethical guidelines and if followed would clear up many of the reporting issues; however, it’s the journalists responsibility to review and consider the guidelines before while editing the article. Failure to obey the guidelines should result in disciplinary action take by the employees manager and a correct release with an apology should be written to the public....
