During the Revolutionary War, the Suffrage Movement, and the intervening years, several female policy entrepreneurs worked toward common goals. Clearly the different eras and different social and political contexts when women lived affected their agendas. Regardless of their different agendas or the times, women policy entrepreneurs have historically promoted causes that most of society and politicians were not quite ready to handle.
