Endogenous v. exogenous democracy Something else causes democracy to form but wealth might sustain it once it has been formed o Jamorsky found that no democracy where there is a meaningful opposition party and the losers step down peacefully as collapsed when they are richer than about $6,000 per person (middle income, similar to parts of Latin America and Asia) o What might explain that?
