Unformatted text preview: HOW DO I FIGURE OUT MY GRADE IN BIOLOGY 212? As explained in your “Nature of the Course” handout, your grade is based on the total
number of points you receive for the semester, out of a possible total of 480 points. The
percentage grade cut-offs for each grade are given in that first-day handout. To figure what
your current grade is at any point, simply determine your score for each of the components of
your grade listed below, and divide by the total possible number of points up to that time in the
semester to calculate the percentage. Points will be added to the BlueLine gradebook as
assignments are completed, but you may receive some scores before they are posted on BlueLine, so the table below will allow you to calculate an "up to the minute" percentage.
