2 Source Transformations When multiple ideal current or voltage sources are present in a circuit, the matter can be simplified if: Current sources appear as parallel connections, where currents can be added and divided Voltage sources appear as series connections, where voltages can be added and divided Need a method to convert: A voltage source in series with a resistor to a current source in parallel with a resistor A current source in parallel with a resistor to a voltage source in series with a resistor This method is called Source Transformation
