The company’s mission statement, premier quality food retailer in the world, is fully understood and embraced throughout the company which has made Publix a successful and innovative grocery chain. I believe the characteristics of a value focused organization would be different from those solely focused on profit. For example, a characteristic of a value focused firm would be along the lines of customer service; however, a profit focus firm would have a philosophy on making money every day....
