Homework: Assigned in lecture (see syllabus) – always due the following lecture day by no later than 5pm – in your TA’s box in 102 Thurston (Conway Room). E.g., problems assigned on Friday, Sept. 3 should be turned in on Wednesday, Sept. 8 (because Monday, Sept 6, Labor Day, is not a lecture day). Homework is partially graded, and solutions are posted.

Grades: 2 Prelims = 40% Final = 40% Recitation = 20% (a combination of homework, quizzes and participation) Academic Integrity: Each student is expected to abide by the Cornell University Code of Integrity, cf. http://cuinfo.cornell.edu/Academic/AIC.html . In particular, each student is responsible for his or her own work on all examinations and quizzes. Violations will be dealt with swiftly and justly.
