Axia College Material Appendix D Contingency Theory of Leadership Description of work environment I worked for a company that takes care of mentally challenged adults in a residential setting. Each house is given a budget every quarter to follow. If the house stays within budget for that quarter the employees of the house will receive a bonus. The clients are on disability, and after all the bills are paid they have on average $40 left for personal use. The Mentally Disabled Resource Services were hit hard with federal budget cuts so the budget became a challenge to follow. My job as house manger; make sure we stay within budget. In the table below, categorize different leadership approaches that could be used in the work environment you have described. Provide different suggestions for each of the four approaches to leadership. Directive approach Supportive approach I could make a list of things we as employees could do to help stay in budget like keeping the thermostat at the same temp to bring the electric bill done.
