ME707 MICROSCALE HEAT TRANSFER (Fall 2002) The main objective of the course is to provide students with microscopic understanding of heat transfer phenomena. The course covers the concept of energy carriers - phonon, electron and photon – and analytical methods based on kinetic theory. Discussions will be made on applied topics such as microscale thermal systems and laser processing.
