BSBINN601 Lead and Manage Organisational Change Introduction According to the scenario information supplied, I identified strategic change needs, review existing policy and monitor trends in the external environment that impact on the object of Fast Track Couriers (FTO) Base on the previous report, I will develop a change management strategy plan and assign resources Change management process Goal B : Implement one person per truck policy using automatic lift in the first quarter of the 2016 financial year. Firstly, there are two drivers per truck to ensure that drivers are able to load and unload heavy package. The strategy going forward is to remove the need for having two drivers per truck by installing an automatic lift gate (a cost of $10,ooo per truck) on the back of each gate. As no heavy lifting will be required, it means that only one driver is need per truck. We will meet a problem that drivers react negatively to change. Currently, drivers enjoy working as part of a two-man team. Secondly, operational manager need to get new skill to assist signal driver to manage their daily routine. Operational manager also need to coordinate large team and to assess Goal A : Implement PDA/GPs usage (productivity function) on truck fleet in the first quarter of the 2016 financial year. Firstly, A GPs system will help and assist trucking team to pick up and drop off packages. All truck drivers are also assigned a PDA which records the details of each pick-up and drop-off start and finishes. When the GPs and PDA devices are introduced, we meet the first problem is that the drivers are not happy. The reason is that they fell that the company is not trust them to manually record the time spend on each job. Another problem is that the drivers resented having to learn how to use the device and thought it was a waste of time. Secondly, GPs and PDA system can help operational manager to manage
