What problems did China Telecom face?
The company faces three problems, which include, firstly, the company needed to invest in state
of the art IT infrastructure, which could support the companies activities and ensure ease of data
protection

Secondly, the company needed to comply with the international
reporting regulations for them to continue operations. Lastly, the company needed to integrate all
its business functions to real-time to enable efficient management
How did these problems affect China Telecom’s business?
The above problems affected China Telecom Business in terms of market share, where they
relied on the old traditional approach rather than investing in a new technological approach,
which limited them to expand.
