OBJECTIVES : The main objective in this course is to provide the student with a good understanding of advanced financial accounting subjects, such as consolidated entities, intercompany transactions, multinational accounting, and special reporting issues. Related to this, this course is also intended to help you prepare for the CPA exam and current accounting practice. To meet these objectives, we will: Examine the concepts underlying and the procedures utilized in recording business combinations.
