Endemic: Present in a community at all times but in relatively low frequency. Something that is endemic is typically restricted or peculiar to a locality or region. For example, malaria is endemic in some areas of Africa. And traffic in illicit drugs is endemic in some neighborhoods. A pandemic (from Greek πᾶν pan "all" + δῆμος demos "people") is an epidemic of infectious disease that is spreading through human populations across a large region; for instance multiple continents , or even worldwide. A widespread endemic disease that is stable in terms of how many people are getting sick from it is not a pandemic. Further, flu pandemics exclude seasonal flu , unless the flu of the season is a pandemic. Throughout history there have been a number of pandemics, such as smallpox and tuberculosis . More recent pandemics include the HIV pandemic and the 2009 flu pandemic . Everyday, we look at ourselves in the mirror. While some are smiling at themselves, some are wishing to be able to smile when they see their reflection in the mirror. The physical aspect of our well-being seems a little too hard for other to improve. Others just do it, and sometimes end up not quite happy with the results. There are a lot of fitness training plans out there, but do you know which one will benefit you the most? The importance of health related fitness is most recommended in any form of fitness activity, may it be a work out or a sport. It works in improving our physical fitness, and works great in keeping our inner well being at the top shape. Why is it recommended? The answer is simply because it is important to our positive health. The importance of health related fitness lies in the benefits we get from it. The following are the benefits we gain over a long period of time from health related fitness. Strength and muscular endurance. With health related fitness, we get to improve these two. Strength is very important since we use it in every movement. A strong body has fewer risks of injuries. Stronger body also means more independent from support, especially when we grow old. With enhanced muscle endurance, our muscles will be able to deal with repetitive movements that cause pressure into our muscle tissues. These two, strength and muscle endurance complement each other. Cardiovascular endurance and body composition. With health related fitness, we are able to monitor our body fat percentage. Having the amount of fat under the healthy percentage will lessen the risk of cardiovascular diseases. We also strengthen our respiratory and circulatory systems with health related fitness programs.
