COMM 230.2 - Fall 2010 Project 2 Audio Editing Assignment Conduct at least one on-camera interview, shoot interesting and relevant B-roll, select appropriate music, and edit these elements into an engaging mini-documentary or profile with properly balanced audio levels. 3 minutes maximum. 15 shots minimum. Pair up with another student in our section. You will be the director, interviewer, audio person and editor of your own project, and the videographer on your partner’s project. Since we have 11 students in our section, one of you will need to find a videographer from outside the class. Let me know ASAP if you have a capable, outside partner in mind. Pre-production Select your subject and interviewee(s) carefully. Interviewee(s) should be interesting and articulate. Plan thoroughly before shooting, including pre-interviewing your interviewee(s) and taking notes. Write out and organize your questions (and possible responses), and refer to them during interview sessions. Production
