C areer S earch S trategy (CSS) Project Instructions MGMT 312-003 Spring Semester 2010 Project Overview One of the goals of MGMT 312 is to help you develop recruiting and interviewing skills both as a future manager and a graduate of George Mason University. The Career Search Strategy Project gives you the opportunity to design your own personal search strategy that you will be able to implement as you quickly approach graduation. Given the present state of the economy and challenging job market, you will need to be prepared to compete with more job seekers than ever before. Establishing an end point vision (what career alternatives are available to you) and deciding what resources to use to enable your strategy, will be a challenging undertaking. This project will begin that preparation process and give you a starting point for something you can build upon well after this class is finished. The project will be completed in three phases. At various points during the semester you will submit 3 deliverables (see below) associated with the various phases of this project. Project Deliverables, Submission Dates & Point Values Deliverable 1 Career Identification & Project Outline Submit via Blackboard by 11:30 / Thursday 2/18 Assignment Points: 10 Deliverable 2 Interview Summary Submit via Blackboard by 11:30am / Thursday 4/1 Assignment Points: 10 Deliverable 3 Action Plan & Project Summary Submit via Blackboard by 11:30am / Thursday 4/22 Assignment Points: 10 The project will be completed in three phases.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
