Description The Elevator Speech is another name for a brief description of: Your background Your work history Your skills Your education Your work objective Purpose To give the listener a compact, precise description of why they should consider hiring you. Timing There is no real limit to this speech, however most elevators complete their journey in less than 30 seconds.
