The main purpose of a persuasive essay is the reason for writing it. When writing an essay the writer is trying to show something by explaining, analyzing, or evaluating it. Also, the writer is trying to make a persuasive argument about a particular topic. A persuasive essay is written to try and convince readers that the topic that is written is true. The writer is trying to prove his or her thoughts and opinions to the reader. In order for an essay to be effective, it must be convincing to the reader. In order for that to be possible, it must be well-thought-out and structured correctly. A short essay may consist of four or five paragraphs. A long essay is six paragraphs or more, depending on what

Once a rough draft is complete of the essay, it is necessary to make sure it is properly structured in order for it to be an effective essay for the reader. An essay must contain an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. The introduction will state the main point. The body of our essay will have at least three supporting paragraphs, depending on what kind of essay that is being written. The conclusion will remind the readers of the main point.
