Receiving feedback on my writing is a way to help me develop better writing strategies and skills. I would use any feedback to help me focus on the challenges I have with my writing such as comma splicing, run on sentences, or fragment sentences. Or say if my paper was not organized properly such as supporting sentences not supporting the proper topic or not following the thesis statement. I will look to see what writing process led me to such a disorganized paper.

Strategy-oriented thinking will help me go from being a writer who writes disorganized papers and then struggles to fix each one to being a writer who no longer writes disorganized papers. I think two sure ways of doing that is to always make an outline and to get feedback on all of my papers....
