There are many people who suffer from eating disorders, both men and woman. They can be in any weight range, underweight, over weight, and any where in between. Having to pick only one disorder is difficult because the dangers fall hand in hand. I myself grew up with an eating disorder called Anorexia. I am 5’9” I was 93lbs and thought that I was fat. I refused to eat for days on end and exercise for hours a day. I am quite lucky not to have any major health problems from that whole ordeal. Some of the signs of Anorexia and Bulimia are rapid weight loss in a short period of time, wearing big or baggy clothes, obsessed with fat content and calories in foods, frequent trips to the bathroom immediately after eating, mood swings, and complaints of always feeling cold. All eating disorders are dangerous. The behaviors associated with eating disorders are binge and purge; in taking a large amount of food with self induced vomiting, taking laxatives, starving yourself, and exercising obsessively.
