Bill Goodykoontz stated “I am not aware that it has really been proven beyond a doubt that it does makes the audience more violent.” Well I believe the violence in television shows, movies, and video games have a lot to do with the violence we see today in our society. Yes there has been violence for as long as we can remember. However, in today’s society children at such young ages are watching and playing these violent games which is programming their precious little young minds. It is a sad world we live in when we can not protect our own children from these horrific things.

Unformatted text preview: I do not believe filmmakers and game manufacturers should not have to bear the responsibility in keeping these violent games and movies away from our children. It is definitely the parents and the guardians of these children’s responsibility to keep such violent games and movies away from our children. And these parents have full responsibility, if you are unable to take care of these precious children then you should never have had them, and to allow them to watch and play such violent things is so very inappropriate....
