3 Dependability Reliability : continuous service accomplishment Measured in MTTF (Mean Time To Failure) Availability MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) Availability = MTTF / (MTTF + MTTR) Serviceability How easily serviced or repaired a system is. For example, a system with modular, hot-swappable components would have a good level of serviceability.
