What do you believe is the most significant benefit of leveraging organizational diversity, and why? What do you think is the most important challenge when it comes to valuing diversity, and why? I believe the most significant benefit of leveraging diversity is unity. Unity in acceptance, accepting the fact that everyone is different. The key here is that this needs to be applied to everyone, not just the frontline workers but also the managers as well. In making crucial decisions I truly believe that everyone’s input needs to be considered, as due largely to our diverse nature we all perceive things differently. Understanding this will be the key to a balanced or leveraged organization.

Unformatted text preview: I believe the most important challenge there is to valuing diversity is when we all have our pre conceived notions or stereotypes about different cultures. And because we have these feelings and notions engraved in our minds it makes it difficult to value another person’s differences. As human beings we for some reason or the other undermine people if they are different than us. I believe its especially difficult for minorities, as to advance our career we often have to go through a labyrinth to reach a managerial role. I believe this is largely due to the fact that we may not be valued by our fellow colleague as competent....
