due to the trickledown effect we reciprocate what we see reflected by the actions portrayed in management. With that said I would like to explain my statement, in parenting children often follow the parent’s action more so than their words. This concept doesn’t change in the business world; frontline employees imitate management as we too want to be like them or in a similar role one day. So like parents to children here at my organization employees imitate similar characteristics shown in management. My GM whenever he speaks to all of the employees he always has a sense of tomorrow, he paints the picture of what happened in the past, what’s currently taking place and then plans for the future or tomorrow. I got the feeling based that what motivates him is growth, growth not in his bank account but for the hotel. I thought this was pretty great; he wants to see
