C.J. Gorrell Rhetorical Situation The topic I have decided to enact upon is the issue of the No Child Left Behind Act’s effectiveness. The primary audience, to which I intend to speak to, is the legislative government branch that has the power to end or continue the program. The secondary audiences that may be interested in the issue are teachers, students, and parents of students. The secondary audiences, would be interested in learning as to why the No Child Left Behind Act, can be more harm than good for the students of this country. All the intended audiences I consider to be educated, and have small background knowledge of how the No Child Left Behind Act functions. The purpose of my addressing the issue is to inform people on the ineffectiveness of the previously mentioned act. Hopefully this will get people thinking about whether or not it is in the best interest of this country as well as the students in it, to continue the act.
