I. Objective – To gain an understanding of how to use lab equipment; to develop and manipulate time varying signals II. Instruments used: A. Power Supply B. Oscilloscope C. Function Generator D. Multi-meter E. Probe III. DC Voltage Measurement A. Description of Experiment: We connected the oscilloscope to the power supply to identify direct currents, so that we could understand how to read and manipulate voltages in direct currents for further experimentation. All manipulation was made by altering the voltage on the power supply, while all our readings were taken on the oscilloscope. We used our Multi-meter to verify our Voltages. B. Data/Observations:

1. No voltage – Trace remained centered on the cross hairs. 2. 2V – Trace jumped up two divisions at a setting of 1V/division
