Also called the Age of Reason. The U.S. Constitution is an example of the Age of Reason. People are smart enough to be able to reason and figure things out, therefore they should have a reasonable government. All things are explainable through science, trial and error method. Through science, the enlightenment scientists believed that human beings could figure things out. Includes people like Issac Newton of Great Britain, father of enlightenment science, foundation of physics, mechanics, calculus, also defined gravitational force. Benjamin Franklin was a follower of Issac
