This bonus/replacement homework is good preparation for Exam 4. Most answers are not case sensitive. Therefore 'e' or 'E' look the same to webassign. The only case-sensitive answers are for element symbols. Thus iron should be 'Fe', not 'FE' or 'fe'. General Instructions for Writing Precipitation and Redox Reactions: For precipitation reactions, write reactants and products in the following order: coefficient Cation + coefficient Anion -> Precipitate 1. For redox reactions, write reactants and products in the following order: coefficient Ox 1 + coefficient Red 2 -> coefficient Red 1 + coefficient Ox 2 2. 3. Do not enter coefficients of '1' 4. Write subscripts as numbers with no special character, but use a "^" before each superscript. Always write the number before the sign and always include '1'. Thus, HCO 3 1- would be HCO3^1-. 5. A single electron would be e^1- 6. Do not use (g), (l), (s) or (aq) 7. Answers are case sensitive. Spaces are ignored, so insert them as you wish for readability. 8. Click on the "eye" symbol to see your formatted response. 9. The input requests are the same as those used in your homework assignments. 10.
