Controlling the expression of genes…there have to be ways of regulating the expression of genes or we would not be able to function Post transcription control- Genetics of modern biology- many different types of life sciences, are using genetic techniques or the results of genetic techniques. Developmental biologists use genetics in their approach, and also evolutionary biologists. This is because of the power of the techniques. We can manipulate the genes in amazing ways. IT is called Genetic engineering. Corn is a very important domesticated plant, because it does not exist in the wild. The seeds don’t have a natural mechanism of dispersal. Humans have changed the properties of some of the organisms that have been domesticated. The pace of genetic engineering is going really fast, because the techniques are very efficient. This is all possible mainly through the recombinant DNAA technology. This is basically the DNA or two organisms that have been sliced together and formed into one. This is basically like recombinant because this type of DNA has never existed
