Wang 1 Susan Wang Wyrauch English 1 Honors 11 June 2006 Dear Ms. Wyrauch, As I first started to write in the beginning of the year, I could not think as fast as I could. I usually take a long period of time in order to write one little essay. Through the number of essays you have assigned, I began to gradually become better at thinking of ideas. I was able to input more elegant words into certain phrases and develop a better type of writing style. Throughout the year, I think that my weakness became my strength. I am able to think of more commentaries for a certain quote and they are barely repetitive. I am getting better at picking the right quotes for a certain paragraph. All of my qualities as a writer today are from the nonstop essay writing that I had to do throughout the year. At first, I thought that it was a waste of time to write the same format of essays over and over again, but who knew that I was getting better every time. Even though I have improved a lot, I still think that I need to improve on dictions. My choices of
