Wang 1 Susan Wang Wyrauch English 1 Honors 20 February 2006 SAT Writing Prompt Would one accomplish a goal for the feeling of success or the prize behind it? There is a quote which teaches one that the best motivation and reward of wealth or recognition for one’s achievements is a sense of happiness and fulfillment. If one expects reward of wealth or recognition for achieving something, it will lead to disappointment. The real reward is the personal satisfaction of achieving a job. I believe that if one achieves something other than for their pleasure, the meaning of doing something diminishes, the excitement of fulfillment is missed, and self satisfaction will never be gained. When one does something that he or she is proud of, it is usually from the excitement behind the project. When one does something for an object, the meaning suddenly disappears. It is like looking for a sunken ship because one wants to be well known for his or her skills, not for the treasure within the ship. Some people might feel just as proud when they win the prize
