Hibbeler, Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics , eleventh edition, Pearson Prentice Hall, Upper Saddle River, NJ, 2007 Prerequisites: Understanding of basic differential and integral calculus, vector algebra, general physics (mechanics), and statics Objectives: To introduce students to the theory and applications of Dynamics (e.g., kinematics and kinetics of particles, systems of particles, and rigid bodies) and to establish their skills in the engineering analysis of mechanical systems involving accelerated motion Course Outline: It is highly recommended to read the assigned materials before each class.
