Week 5 Dis 1 Recognize the influence of the senior executives on organizational change and discuss possible strategies for building trust within the change process. Think from the perspective of things that management must avoid and explain why the bit fall must be avoided. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings. Senior executives set goals and establish a vision, and then must motivate or influence others to  pursue the goals. Leaders influence others in one of two ways. Either the leader and followers  communicate directly, or the leader provides an example through everyday actions. The key to  effective communication is to come to a common or shared understanding. What I learned about leadership is that it is all about influencing others. Leaders set goals and  establish a vision, and then must motivate or influence others to pursue the goals. Leaders  influence others in one of two ways. Either the leader and followers communicate directly, or the  leader provides an example through everyday actions. The key to effective communication is to  come to a common or shared understanding. As far as what I believe about leadership success, I  feel that success is a combination of many things.  Including traits of individuals, all the different  leadership styles and the roles people play in a group.  I feel that all these things combined help  to the success of a program or project.  Organizations need to learn that its employees feedback, thoughts and idea can play  a major  role in part of the company’s decisions. Organizations need to learn to listen to its leaders on all  levels, which keep the company connected to the daily needs of the employees and its  customers. Continued education of employees the company faces external challenges each day,  customer demands are always changing, their needs wants and not to mention technology.  Internal forces would be employees that can not, will not learn to adapt to all the change.  What is posted on the board as of right now.

I think like we have mentioned before that in order for a senior of management to build trust within the company  they must make sure that they are including everyone when change is taking place. Sometimes change is not  fair and can be hard on a select few but keeping everyone involved with help dramatically being that the  employees knew it was coming and saw the way everything was going to turn out. I think seeking input before  hand on the change and seeing if there was anyway around certain things would be another good idea being  everyone will feel like they were asked and not just told.
