Due Wednesday March 25, 2010 in studio. Please design and document a controller for lighting the staircase of a three-story house. The system allows all the lights in the staircase to be turned on or off on any floor. A master switch turns located at the front door allows turning all the lights off regardless of the settings of the three floor switches. Specifications Third-party electrical contractor will install the lights and provide wiring to a switchbox on the ground floor. The lights will be turned on or off with one of three SPDT (single-pole, double-throw) wall switches, one on each floor. All the switches are connected to a 5V power supply. The terminals T1, T2, T3 of the switches are at either +5V or at 0 V, depending on whether its switch is ON or OFF. The output of the controller is at terminal GO, which leads to a relay that turns on the lights on all three floors when the terminal GO is at +5V.
