Problem 1 (20 points) Fifty grams (50 g) of a pure hydrocarbon is confined in a piston-cylinder vessel of volume 1000 cm 3 , maintained at a constant temperature of 200 OF.The saturated liquid and saturated vapor densities of the hydrocarbon at 200 OFare 0.45 g / cm 3 and 0.05 g/cm 3 , respectively.
