Research Plan General Information needs according to our client's goals: Our client's goal is to have an understanding of the public's awareness and perceptions of consuming alcoholic beverages. Therefore, we must assess the public's awareness through the use of in-depth interviews and surveys. 12 in-depth interviews will be conducted with Pullman residents ages 30 and older. We will create a questionnaire with 15-20 open-ended questions to ask our interviewees. These interviews should take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete. An incentive will be given to our participants, whether it is a cup of coffee, snack, etc. Approximately 300 mall intercept surveys will also be conducted in various locations, such as grocery stores and liquor stores within the Pullman community. Each survey will contain around 15 to 20 questions, and should take no more than five minutes for respondents to complete. Since our surveys will also be distributed to men and women ages 25 and older, we will select our respondents based on whether or not we perceive them to meet this criteria. We will provide our participants with a coupon to a local restaurant as an incentive for completing our survey. How the information gathered will be handled and used: After collecting the information, Pullman Publicity will analyze and measure the public's awareness of the benefits associated with moderate alcohol consumption.
